The Karma Kameleons

The Karma Kameleons is without a doubt the pop-rock group of a decade. The 1980’s. Even though they disappeared suddenly in 1981, they managed to leave a memorable legacy that influenced a whole generation of musicians. Rock or pop, no one knew how to rock the planet better than The Karma Kameleons.

They have been imitated, copied and covered by many well-known artists, and have been adored by scholars. Many of these stars have benefited from their disappearance to enjoy recognition, and often it is these versions that are widely known.

But know this: The music that rocked your world was originally penned by The Karma Kameleons.

November 28, 1981

A terrible and rather mysterious event put the arts world in turmoil. Gordon Graham, Joe Jones, Shun Young, Jack Hackett and Randy Rebel of the world-famous band The Karma Kameleons disappeared!

Witnesses say the incident occurred during a sound check the group was doing at Madison Square Garden.

The group, who has dominated the charts around the world, was known for its catchy and powerful songs.
